Dr. Onorio Chaparro serves full time at Christian Cultural Center (CCC) as Director of the Maturity Division and the International Christian Brotherhood (ICB) Men’s Ministry founded by Reverend A.R. Bernard. Chaparro is a “son of the ministry” arriving at CCC in 1996 as a new believer and joining full-time staff in 2005 upon completing his Masters in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary.

As the Director of the Maturity Division, Chaparro spearheads Christian education to equip adults in spiritual formation and personal mission in Christ. Under his direction new members are taken through a personalized process that includes discovering their unique design for ministry within a small group experience. Through Chaparro’s leadership the Spiritual Life Institute (SLI) develops curricula that integrates Biblical doctrine and practical living through courses, seminars and conferences.

Chaparro leads the ICB, a men’s ministry whose purpose is to “train men in Christ-likeness as the standard for manhood.” Under his direction ICB trains men through conferences, workshops, and small group experiences that forge bonds of brotherhood and develop servant leaders. Since 2005, ICB has grown to a membership of over 1500 members with thousands more positively impacted by the fraternity's events and community service. Chaparro befriends other Men’s Ministries providing training, consultation, and strategic development.

In 2015 Chaparro began implementing Pastor AR Bernard's vision for CCC's very own small group ministry called Connect Groups. Chaparro trains participants to become Hosts to their family, friends, neighbors and co-workers in order to cultivate spiritual formation and authentic community. Connect Groups meet in homes, businesses, and even videoconference using CCC's Principle's for Life Study.

Chaparro strives to cultivate learners and leaders at every stage of their maturation. This passion for developing people has driven Chaparro's own continuing studies, most recently culminating in the completion of his Doctorate in Ministry, in 2016, at Alliance Theological Seminary (ATS), with a focus on leadership and emerging adulthood. Chaparro joined the staff of ATS as adjunct professor teaching Initiation in Spiritual Formation and Urban Evangelism.

In his heart, Chaparro loves his calling to “equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church” as a teacher, life coach, and mentor (Ephesians 4:12). He is affectionately known at CCC as \"Brother Minister\" for his down to earth teaching style and love for God's people. In addition to his ecclesiastical responsibilities he regularly mentors emerging adults, new believers, ministers in training and those who desire to walk in their divine purpose.

Chaparro resides in Flatbush, Brooklyn, where he was born and raised, with his loving wife of nineteen years, Adrienne A. Chaparro and four dynamite children, Jeremiah, Ariana, Isaiah and Elisha.
